UPDATE:
As by our tradition Neptune 7.9 Beta 1 ISO is now available on time for Carneval. You can find the ISO here: https://download.neptuneos.com/dev/

This one comes based  upon Debian Testing (Bookworm) with the latest Plasma 5.27 (Beta) aswell as Linux kernel 6.1.8. For the first time we ship Plasma Wayland as session aswell as Flatpak with activated Flathub repository for a vast amount of apps available for Linux.

Notice: This version is a bit bigger _3GB in size due to some apps relying on Qt5 libs and the default being Qt6. We are looking into it if we can reduce size further but did already do some tweaking to reduce the size.

Known Bugs:

• Btrfs installation end up with a read only mount after installation (this needs fixing in Calamares still)
• Kernel 6.1.8 has issues with AMD GPUs and external displays staying black after standby and wakeup (This is fixed in Kernel 6.1.9 and higher - Debian Sid has 6.1.11 already so it should be fixed soon)
